Is Control Resonant a sequel to Control?
Yes. Set about seven years after Control, the story follows Dylan Faden as a paranatural crisis consumes Manhattan and Jesse Faden disappears.
Do I need to play Control first?
No. Creative director Mikael Kasurinen says the sequel is built to stand alone — new players can follow Dylan’s story without playing Control, the AWE DLC, or Alan Wake 2.
When does Control Resonant release?
September 24, 2026, on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, PC (Steam & Epic Games Store), and Mac (later in 2026).
How long is Control Resonant?
